UPC® / cUPC® Certification
Plumbing Product Compliance for the United States and Canada
Selected Byson International plumbing fixture fittings are listed by IAPMO R&T under File No. 7903 and bear the applicable UPC® or cUPC® certification mark.
The listed products are certified to ASME A112.18.1-2024 / CSA B125.1-24 and comply with the applicable requirements of the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC®) and the National Plumbing Code of Canada. Covered products include selected drinking faucets, drinking bubbler valves, saddle valves and related plumbing fixture fittings.
UPC® and cUPC® listings help customers identify designated product models that have been evaluated for applicable plumbing requirements in the United States and Canada. The listings apply only to the models and conditions specified in the official IAPMO R&T product listing.
Lead-Free Plumbing Products
NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 – Drinking Water System Components – Lead Content
Selected Byson International drinking faucets, valves and plumbing components are certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 372.
NSF/ANSI/CAN 372 establishes a standardized methodology for determining and verifying the lead content of drinking-water system components. The standard addresses lead content only and does not evaluate the extraction or leaching of contaminants into drinking water.
Certification applies only to the product models and components identified in the applicable certificate or official product listing.
NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 Certification
Drinking Water System Components – Health Effects
Selected Byson International drinking faucets, valves and related components are certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 61.
NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 is a recognized health-effects standard for materials, components and products that come into contact with drinking water. It establishes minimum health-effects requirements for contaminants or impurities that may be indirectly introduced into drinking water from these products.
This certification helps customers evaluate the suitability of designated product models for drinking-water applications and supports compliance review for the North American market.
ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System

Byson International operates under an ISO 9001:2015-certified quality management system.
ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for establishing, maintaining and continually improving a quality management system. It provides a structured framework for process management, documented information, performance evaluation, corrective action and continual improvement.
